Andover's employment market has received a major boost with the news of 100 full-time sales jobs at Office Depot in Andover.

The jobs are permanent sales positions for individuals based at a major office supplies company in Andover, where they will be using the phone to sell.

Craig Elvin, permanent consultant at Manpower Winchester said: "This is great news for the local area. Results from the recent Manpower Employment Outlook survey showed employer hiring confidence in the South West was the second highest of all UK regions."

Manpower says Andover is an ideal location for people to settle and find permanent work.

Manpower in Winchester has a wide range of permanent and temporary vacancies ranging from office administration and secretarial roles through to manufacturing and warehouse positions, front of house operatives in pubs and restaurants right up to area managers for catering companies. Staff who are registered with Manpower gain free access to over 1,500 training courses via Manpower's online Global Learning Centre, in subjects such as leadership, communication and customer service as well as a range of IT skills.
